![]() ![]() ![]() The RAW image processor built into Photo Studio 6 has plenty of controls for turning RAW image files into finished photos and includes a sophisticated color editor that gives access to no fewer than eight separate color ranges. Easy Select tabs enable the selection of multiple folders to search through and a whole range of file types are supported with Quick View so the user can see exactly what’s in a file before taking the trouble of opening it with another piece of software. Complex searches can be saved for re-use with a single mouse click. Keyword lists can be imported from other software and exported to share with others. This latest version of Photo Studio has some significant enhancements including direct access to a user’s iCloud Drive. Finding the exact images from a stack of photos has never been easier. Metadata can be copied and pasted to whole batches of photos, which should cut down laborious cataloging functions such as organizing photos from a wedding shoot or travel assignment. Duplicate images can be hunted down and erased to save disk space, plus there's full control over IPTC information, custom metadata and even custom labels and tags. The Asset Manager Pane of Photo Studio 6 has some handy functions that enable photographers to add searchable keywords to an image or a whole group of images. ![]()
